First and Second year BBM+ Degree students of Aditya Degree College visit RAK Ceramics Limited
The first and second year Bachelor of Business Management (BBM Plus) students of Aditya Degree College, Kakinada visited the RAK Ceramics limited, ADB Road, Samalkot. Giving this information, the Academic Coordinator Shri BEVL Naidu said that it is a regular practice for BBM students at Aditya Degree College to visit local industries as part of their curriculum. He also said that the students are given a chance to get practical exposure through such industrial visits. He also opined that BBM students will get understand the real time management situations in the industry and also to know the business opportunities and brand making etc., through interaction with persons at the visiting industry or firm. Shri BEVL Naidu flagged off the industrial tour.
RAK Ceramics has the largest and most modern vitrified tile manufacturing plant in Samalkot with a manufacturing capacity of 30,000 Sq. mtrs of vitrified tiles per day and 1,500 sanitary ware pieces/day. RAK Ceramics is the only company in India to manufacture all the 10 distinct variants of vitrified tiles. RAK Ceramics has more than 5,000 designs and shades, making it among the largest range of products globally. Currently RAK Ceramics is having 10 exclusive show rooms and 1000 dealers across India. They are supplying Fully vitrified polished, unpolished, semi-polished, rustic & glazed rustic tiles, high quality premium and imported sanitary ware and hiend range of bathroom and kitchen fittings.
The Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions Shri NK Deepak Reddy appreciated the students for participating in the industrial visit. On this occasion Shri Deepak Reddy opined that there are several opportunities available for BBM+ Degree students in the market and only when they get exposure from industries and institutes, they can get better placements. He also opined that the students should learn from these practical industrial visits. On this occasion he thanked the Representative of RAK Ceramics, Dy. General Manager, HR Department Shri R. Sudhakar for helping the students in visiting the industry.
The Chairman of Aditya Educational Institutions, Shri N. Sesha Reddy appreciated the representatives of RAK Ceramics authorities and specially thanked Shri R. Sudhakar for extending his cooperation in making the visit a success. He gave a call to the students to make use of similar Industrial visits and improve their learning skills.
