WORLD ZOONOSES DAY AWARENESS PROGRAM @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

An awareness program of ZOONOSES day was conducted at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada, under the behest of the NSS team. Speaking on the program, Aditya Degree & P.G.Courses, Academic Director, Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu said that Zoonoses is an infectious disease caused by bacteria, viruses and parasites that spread between animals & humans. He stated that the disease can be spread through the animal’s milk, meat and so where every human being directly or indirectly depends on the animals for various purposes and this is the reason for this awareness program.The Chief Guest of the program Dr.Kapuganti Koti stated that there are many dreadful diseases that spread from the animals and every year on 06^th July awareness programs are being organized at various places. Through these awareness programs the society will be aware of dangerous diseases like Anthrax, Rabies and HIV. Later students were asked questions on the social issues and were given small gifts, by the AKNU NSS advisory member, Sri Manikireddy Satyanarayana, who gave the correct answers. Dr.N.Sesha Reddy, Chairman; Sri.N.Krishna Deepak Reddy, Secretary, Aditya Educational Institutions, appreciated the NSS team for organizing the program. Sri.Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana, Vice-Principal, NSS program officers, Sri.T.Tejeswararao, Sri.L.Diwakararao and NSS volunteers participated in this program.
