It is conventional at Aditya to celebrate each and every festival with zeal and enthusiasm. As a part of it, the salient day of December month, Christmas was celebrated in a gala way. On this annual festival, we commemorate the birth of jesus christ. It is observed primarily on 25th December as a religious and cultural celebration among billion of people around the world. Keeping the pandemic in view the Adityan’s celebrated this festival for two days, the first day i.e on 23rd for high school and the second day i.e on 24th for primary. The campus was well decorated. It resembled Bethlehem.
Principal Mr. T. Ramesh, Vice Principal Mrs. Vijaya Umapathi and the academic coordinator Mrs. Rajini graced the dais with their elegant presence. The programme commenced with lovely songs. Principal Mr. T. Ramesh addressed the gathering with his wonderful words. He stated that India is the only country which celebrates all the festivals in unity. He wished every one a happy and merry christmas. All the ten commandments were explained by one of our staff Mr. Simhachalam. He adviced children to help others. The programme went on cheerfully and as we all know the skytouch moment for children is to meet santa claus. Yes, our little munchkin santas came by singing songs and waving hands to our glorious buds and gave chocolates as a token of love. Students gave speeches about the birth of jesus and the sacrifies he did for the man – kind. Later our high school angels came with awesome attires to sing songs. Principal, Vice Principal and staff gathered to cut the cake. The day made us feel as if we were at a heaven. Finally the day ended with a magnificent message, that “the melody and spirit of christmas brings love and it is the season for peace, joy and fellowship with family and friends”.
May the yuletide spirit fill your heart and home with an abundance of merry, contentment, laughter and harmony.
